Month 1, Days 15-18 of the 6 pack abs challenge – this one is going to be very short for a couple of reason (it was going to be long for day 15 because I had a decent drop, but alas…)
- I am going to run.
- I am leaving soon to take my daughters to Nashville for an Ed Sheeran concert – I will find some good old rock or country band in one of the great bars they have there and camp out for a few hours.
- I am very happy with my drop on day 15 after adjusting a lot on day 14 and 15 and I am holding steady, but that is not the plan so I am continuing to tweak and learn.
6 Pack results so far
- 18 Days into the challenge
- I am down 10.5 pounds to 192.5
- I can’t see the two pack yet so I really do need to dial in for these last 12 days
- Normal routines are getting tweaked so I hope to throw in some more cardio soon
- early workouts
- late pickups for kids practice
- long project work is getting worse in preparation for the end of the year
If you read days 10-13 or day 14 you know I had good drops followed by some adds and adjustments.
The good news is I dropped 2 on day 15 to 192 and went to 192.5 for the next 3 days holding steady.
The bad news is I held basically steady for 4 days. And now I am exactly even with my goal for the 18th day. Just can NOT go above the line!
That will be tough going to Nashville and eating out for the next four meals, but it is doable with some basic planning so I am done with this post and I’ve got to make a supply run for some protein and good, portable meals and snacks.
Will be even tougher with 5 women in the car, but I’ll make it. I hope.
